2011 MY FAVOURITE PHOTOS
Some nice new stuff added this year. The treasures of Dubai were a great treat for a first time visit in March. There’s a lot more out there to discover. Singapore wasn’t as exciting as I’d have liked - more and more standardised but it’s a colourful fleet and I got a couple pf ‘pretty pics’. Sydney provided some good street scenes though my favourite has to be the Merc going under the airport tunnel. Kuala Lumpur is a fascinating location and the Selangor fleet is intriguing, decrepit but intriguing! A first time visit to Bangkok was a bit of a culture shock. Just look at the state of the various fleets - from rust buckets to beautifully painted cruisers. Closer to home Northern Ireland provided some new views even in the rain and the Belfast fleet in its shocking pink livery was a bit of a surprise! Loved the West Coast Irizars so they appear twice and the big Plaxton coaches in Inverness were amazing. The NE of England held no great surprises, my favourite pic was a Dennis Drat in Newcastle!!! And the snow provided a couple of unusual angles - and another Dennis!Read More
